Overview
HMMAT 205 is a high-performance silica matting agent produced via the sol-gel process with an organic surface treatment. Its fine particle size (D50 4.5–5.5 μm) delivers gloss reduction through microscopic surface irregularities, with excellent dispersibility, high chemical stability, and high transparency alongside strong matting effects. Suited for wood coatings, general industrial coatings, inks, and coil coatings.
