Overview
HJSIL R274 is a hydrophobic fumed silica treated with DDS (dimethyldichlorosilane), supplied as a high-purity white colloidal powder with a BET surface area of 170 ± 20 m²/g. It provides thickening, thixotropy, reinforcement, anti-settling, anti-caking, anti-blocking, adsorption, and insulation performance in elastomers, coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants, and powder coatings.
